In China, a crocodile bit a girl on the arm

In the Chinese city of Shenzhen, a video captured the moment a small crocodile attacked a curious girl. The incident occurred at a reptile exhibition.

According to the victim's mother, before the exhibition she asked the organizers if she could send her daughter there alone. They assured the woman that it was completely safe, and she let the child go.

The girl was walking near the open reptile terrariums and stopped in front of the crocodiles. After looking at them, she decided to stick her hand in. One crocodile did not appreciate this and immediately bit the girl. She jumped back, and the crocodile unclenched his teeth. The incident was captured on video.

The girl immediately received medical assistance. Her mother demanded compensation from the exhibition organizers, but they agreed to pay only the family's medical expenses. They explained that there were signs near the terrariums prohibiting people from reaching out to the reptiles. The organizers added that if the girl had not climbed up to the crocodiles, they would not have touched her. It is not specified how serious the child's injury is.
