Police opened fire on an armed man

In the American state of Illinois, a woman called the police and reported that an unknown man was sitting on the porch of her house with a gun. Law enforcement officers arrived on the scene and almost immediately opened fire.

The black man waved the weapon and even tapped the handrail to prove that the gun was real. Several patrol officers responded to the call.

Video from the camera captured the moment when the officer approached the man, who pointed a gun in the officer's direction, which forced the police to open fire. The 35-year-old man later died in hospital. No one else was hurt.
