Two people on electric scooters collided

On April 23 in St. Petersburg on Engels Avenue, a scooter hit an 11-year-old child and, fearing the consequences, fled the scene of the crime. A man passing by helped the child. But, despite the assistance provided, the driver’s wheels caused irreparable harm to the child’s health. Footage of the unfortunate collision, which resulted in a ruptured spleen and intra-abdominal bleeding, appeared only today.

Now the driver who ran into the child has already been detained - he turned out to be a 21-year-old St. Petersburg resident. A criminal case was opened against him for violating traffic rules. Other than life-threatening injuries, nothing new is known about the condition of the injured 11-year-old boy.
