Blogger Bisscute was showing off a collection of cosplay accessories on stream, including a katana she'd been given. At one point, the samurai sword slipped from its sheath, and she instinctively tried to catch it. The result: severed tendons in two fingers. 
The middle and ring fingers were injured. She currently has a cast.
The rehabilitation process will take at least 4-6 months, including sessions with a rehabilitation therapist, physical therapy, and other procedures.
