A driver hit children at a pedestrian crossing (4 photos + 2 videos)

In Tulun, Irkutsk region, on Vatutina Street, a 29-year-old driver driving a Toyota Kaldina hit two boys. Before the ambulance arrived, one of the minors, a 7-year-old boy, died, and his 11-year-old brother was taken to intensive care. The traffic police clarified that the driver was sober at the time of the incident.





Investigators of the Investigative Committee detained a 29-year-old resident of Ust-Ilimsk under Article 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation, who hit two children at a pedestrian crossing in Tulun. The man is suspected of committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Violation of traffic rules resulting in the death of a person through negligence,” reports the press service of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Irkutsk Region.
