In Moscow, kind people saved a dog that its owner locked in an apartment alone. The man beat the pet, and then left for a week and a half, leaving it alone.
Residents of the Nekrasovka district in Moscow saved a dog that its owner, a drug addict, allegedly locked in an apartment alone.
"We received this information that the dog was left locked up. He just went somewhere, its owner is a drug addict, left it without food and water. We got the keys to the apartment by hook or by crook. He left it there with another neighbor, also a drug addict. We took the keys, and now the dog is under our supervision," Anna, who participated in the rescue of the dog, reported on the Telegram channel of volunteers.
According to her information, the former owner repeatedly beat the dog severely, and also left it alone after that.
"He beats him very hard, because literally two weeks after he locked him up, the son learned all the information there, he beat him so hard that the dog squealed, there was blood, and the neighbors came running, and the police were called, but, like, nothing. The dog definitely needs to be confiscated, otherwise he will simply kill it, beat it to death," Anna added.
The videos contain obscene language.
Here is what a caring woman, the first to raise the alarm, wrote about the situation:
"People, please help. We got through to the dog whose owner is a drug addict, he left for 1.5 weeks and the dog was simply locked in the apartment without food or water, we found the keys through the neighbors, we were able to walk and feed the dog.
You can see from the video that the dog is very intimidated, the drug addict is beating him hard, the police are not reacting. I can’t take him for myself at all, there are already two strays living in the apartment, one bitch is not sterilized and aggressive.
I have no idea what to do, I am not a volunteer, I just love dogs very much.
Maybe there are some contacts of volunteers, I will be grateful for any information and help.
A week and a half, then the drug addict will come back and can kill the dog, I repeat, he always beats him very badly."
The dog was taken away. As volunteer Alexandra later clarified, the dog named Balu has now been delivered and placed in a clinic with an inpatient department. The dog also showed signs of an allergy on its body.
