Thirty-six-year-old Christopher Tribe collided with five cars on the B5129 in Flintshire while driving a truck with a heavily fogged windscreen, significantly limiting visibility.
The impact caused a chain reaction: the truck veered into a ditch, injuring two people involved, and spilling its cargo—glue—on the road, creating additional difficulties for rescuers.
The court sentenced Tribe to a 36-week suspended sentence, an 18-month driving ban, a mandatory advanced driving test, and fines totaling over £310.
He was ordered to pay £187 to the victim plus £85 in court costs.
