A lifeguard in California saved a child's life

While working on a California beach during his first season, a young lifeguard faced a serious trial. A 10-year-old boy was being swept out to sea by a strong current, and powerful waves prevented other lifeguards from reaching him. Despite the dangerous conditions, the man did not back down, managed to reach the child, and safely pulled him out of the water.
