Robbers on motorcycles set up an ambush, but everything went wrong

In the Brazilian city of Osasco, an attempted armed robbery turned into a violent shootout right in the middle of a residential area. Several criminals on motorcycles attempted to block a car carrying a municipal security officer and his family.

When one of the attackers opened fire on the car, the officer returned fire. One of the robbers was wounded and fell from his motorcycle, while his accomplices fled the scene. More than ten spent cartridges were later found at the scene.
