In Laos, a hot air balloon carrying tourists collided with power lines during its descent. The incident caused power outages in many homes and businesses.
The incident occurred on March 26 in the city of Vang Vieng in Vientiane Province. During its descent, the aircraft collided with power lines, causing power outages in thousands of homes and businesses.
Local residents reported hearing screams from the hot air balloon's passengers as the pilot attempted to free it from its dangerous position. No one was reportedly injured. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
