The tourist discovered he was late for his flight and vandalized a duty-free shop at a Greek airport, according to The Sun.
The incident occurred at Athens Airport. The 35-year-old traveler missed his flight to Cyprus and went on a rampage. Video captured the unruly visitor to the Greek capital. He grabbed bottles of alcohol from the store shelves and pelted other passengers with them.
The man allegedly committed the act of violence in order to feign mental illness and gain free deportation home. "He didn't have a single euro in his pocket, not even enough for water," said Greek TV presenter Tasos Tergiakis.
