In China, a child put a firecracker in his mouth

A disturbing incident occurred in China's Guangdong province. A small child mistook a firecracker for candy and put it in his mouth.

The mother was showing her child how to use firecrackers, but then became distracted for a moment. In her absence, the child mistook one of the firecrackers for candy and put it in his mouth, causing it to explode, causing sparks and a loud bang.

The mother rushed to the screaming child's aid. She later reported that the child's tongue was injured, but the injuries were minor and not life-threatening. She also expressed regret for not being able to control the situation.
