A teenager attacked a classmate at a Chinese school

A student with bipolar disorder unexpectedly attacked a classmate on video. The incident occurred at Jingshi Du Fu High School in the Chinese city of Gongyi.

"According to a staff member, the student who was assaulted did not sustain any serious injuries and returned to school to attend classes as usual... the student who committed the attack is currently at home and did not attend school," local media reported.

"The staff member added that since the student who struck the classmate has bipolar disorder, he obtained forgiveness from the victim's parents, and the parents of both parties reached an agreement," they also noted.
