Two men got into a fight during a bus tour in Thailand. The British tourist was upset that the Middle Easterner had his bare feet on top of his seat.

The incident occurred in Phuket. During a bus tour, a British tourist noticed another tourist had his bare feet on top of his seat, so that they were right next to his head. The young man initially asked the Middle Easterner to lower his feet, but was reportedly met with ridicule. This sparked the fight.

Tour staff were forced to intervene. Published footage shows the British tourist hitting his fellow passenger, after which the two men are separated. One of them was escorted off the tour bus, but the altercation continued. "The British tourist spoke calmly, saying it was inappropriate, but the Arab customer was sneering, laughing and being rude to him," explained local guide Yuttachai Sami.
