Attempted robbery with chili powder at an Indian jewelry store did not go as planned

In Ahmedabad, India, a woman attempted to rob a jeweler by throwing chili powder in his face to blind him and steal his jewelry. However, the salesman was barely injured and immediately fought off the attacker, striking her several times and pushing her out of the store. The incident resembled a scene from a Bollywood movie more than a real crime.
