A drunk man with a cleaver attacked police in Korea
They used live and blank rounds, as well as a stun gun, against him.
A Russian citizen was wandering through the Mun-dong district of Seoul carrying a knife. A local resident approached him. The 34-year-old Russian began waving a large knife, breaking store windows, and punching a wall, which greatly frightened the Korean man.
Cops arrived and demanded that he put down the shiv. The drunk man ignored them and began threatening them. The police used a stun gun on him, but it didn't work. They then used blank rounds, which didn't frighten him, and then fired live rounds at him while he was in custody. He was then restrained and taken to the local jail.
He is reportedly charged with obstructing official duties and intimidation. He also allegedly holds a refugee visa. The test showed that the Russian was drunk, but not under the influence of drugs.
