Buffalo left lionesses without prey and stole her cub from them
A traveler spending his leisure time in the Masai Mara Nature Reserve, located in Kenya, witnessed a confrontation between predators for prey.
The predatory cats attacked an unattended baby buffalo. A hyena running past was so hungry that it tried to take the prey from the lionesses, but was ultimately forced to retreat and leave the predators alone with the victim.
But after a while, several lionesses returned to try their luck, but were unable to withstand the formidable competitors.
The tourist continued to capture the lionesses' meal when a cloven-hoofed mother appeared on the horizon and rescued her cub from the predatory animals. The cub received serious injuries, but independently left the now hated field and reunited with his herd.
