Lost generation: detained in Russia schoolchildren who beat up a drunk man for likes on social networks
It turned out that one of the teenagers had recently been removed from the register.
A group of teenagers attacked a drunk man and beat him up in Luchegorsk, Primorsky Krai. The Investigative Committee has not announced the reason - it is only known that it was insignificant, and the man called the 16-year-olds who attacked him "the lost generation".
A friend of the teenagers filmed a video about the exploits of her friends, which was then posted on social networks to boast about their toughness. The beating did not add any glory, but the police became interested in the antics of the young hooligans.
The injured man, born in 1971, is currently undergoing outpatient treatment, and a criminal case has been opened against the "kids" for hooliganism committed by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
"The teenagers have been detained, and the issue of choosing a preventive measure against them is being decided.
The progress and results of the investigation have been put under control," the Primorsky Krai prosecutor's office reports.
According to media reports, the girl and one of the attackers are currently registered, the latter for property-related offenses. And another teenager, who hit the man first, was removed from the register in May (he was registered for assault). Apparently, the lesson was not learned.
