"Did I hit him? How could I hit him?"

At a meeting of the High Council of Justice, a video was shown from the scene of a fatal accident involving judge Alexei Tandir.

As Censor.NET reports, judging by the recording, Tandir was driving the car, since he did not get out from the passenger seat. At the same time, he asked: “Did I shoot him down? How could I shoot him down?” Later in the video, when the judge was directly asked if he was the driver, he responded, “I don’t know.” Further, Tandoor constantly claimed that he was a passenger. At first the judge did not mind that he was drunk. When the police officer said that she saw signs of alcohol intoxication and that he smelled of “fumes,” Tandir repeated twice: “I know.”

The judge constantly evaded answers, did not say where he worked and claimed that the police were biased. He also refused to speak or take a breathalyzer while he was handcuffed: “How can I say anything if I’m standing in handcuffs?” Tandir also replied that his job is “better than the civil service.”

Previously, a forensic psychological examination by the DBI confirmed that Tandoor was intoxicated at the time of the accident. However, as the rapporteur on the Salikhov case noted, he did not make a 100% conclusion about this. At the next meeting, Tandir thanked Vitaly Salikhov for this position. Well, now, having the video made public, any sensible observer can evaluate the judge’s behavior for himself.

Finally, the VRP decided to suspend consideration of the complaint until April 24. Meanwhile, Tandyr himself continues to receive a judge's remuneration and even expressed a desire to become a deputy company commander in the Nizhyn TRO in order to be released from custody.

Let us remind you that on the night of May 26, judge of the Makarovsky District Court Alexey Tandir, while intoxicated, knocked down a National Guardsman to death at a checkpoint in Kyiv.

The SBI reported that the judge refused to undergo examination.

The PROSUD project reported that Tandoor was previously marked by the dismissal of a large number of drivers who drove while drunk.

As a result of an accident caused by Judge Tandyr, 23-year-old National Guardsman Vadim Bondarenko died. On May 27, the Pechersky District Court in Kyiv sent Judge Alexei Tandir into custody. According to the examination, the former judge was intoxicated at the time of the accident.

Subsequently, Tandir asked to be sent to the army instead of a pre-trial detention center.
