A cement truck in Astana A schoolboy riding a bicycle was fatally struck by a car on a pedestrian crossing.
A 13-year-old cyclist decided to dart across the road in front of a truck, but ended up under its wheels—he had no chance of survival.
“Thank you to everyone who shared our grief and deep sorrow. We have lost our son, Gleb. He was a very active, cheerful, agile, and tireless child. He loved life and always wanted to get everything done. We could blame ourselves, the driver, the bike, and our naivety for this situation… But now it’s all in vain. The truck driver is not to blame. We can’t undo the past… Children rush, promise to be careful, but don’t fully understand the danger around them. The hardest thing is realizing that you can’t hug your child and tell them how much you love them. Don’t blame anyone,” wrote the mother of the deceased child.
18+! Not for the faint of heart.
