An American motorcyclist momentarily transformed into a ghost rider.

A thrill-seeker and his motorcycle nearly injured children in a crash. The spectacular death of the man's vehicle was captured on video.

The incident occurred in Bear County, Texas. The children were unharmed, but the motorcyclist suffered burns.

From the local press:

"The motorcyclist, Josh, contacted us and said his burns were severe enough to require surgery, but he expected to be okay. He said he was going too fast and leaned the motorcycle the wrong way before falling. We asked him what he thought of the children near the scene of the accident. He didn't answer that question, but said they supported him as he put out the fire with a hose borrowed from a neighbor."
