A man was suddenly stabbed from behind while standing calmly on the street

A surveillance video is circulating online showing a man standing calmly on the street, unaware of danger. At some point, an unknown assailant approaches him from behind and stabs him, then quickly flees.

The victim sustained critical injuries but survived and was taken to the hospital. The assailant was later apprehended by police; authorities say it was a random attack, and the suspect has been charged with attempted murder.
