Rats have taken over the Polish city of Wroclaw.
One of Poland's largest cities is experiencing a veritable rat infestation. Experts estimate that at least a million rodents are living in the city. By comparison, as of the end of 2024, Wroclaw had a population of approximately 673,500.
The city center, with its old buildings, is particularly affected. Rats are everywhere—in sewers, basements, and even on the streets—eating trash and breeding due to the mild winter and the messy waste management.
