A football player almost lost an eye on the field

Dutch Heerenveen footballer Ion Nicolaescu collided with an opposing player and suffered an orbital bone injury. The Moldovan athlete decided to blow his nose, which led to his eyeball almost falling out of its socket.

The footballer was forced to leave the field.

The regular time of the match ended with a score of 2:2. His team lost in a penalty shootout and left the tournament.
