A Florida resident slapped a girl who was making fun of her over his son

The woman was trying to cross the Fernando Belaunde Terry Highway, which was blocked by massive landslides, when she had an accident that left her trapped underground for several hours.

Video footage shows members of the Peruvian National Police (PNP), drivers and workers trying to free her using shovels, wood and wire to move the rock, but the weight of the boulder prevented the rescue operation from taking place.

Heavy equipment later arrived and rescuers were able to move the heavy rock. Many believed the woman was dead, but were surprised when she showed signs of life. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she remains.
