Fans threw a knife at the head of a Colombian football player
An alarming incident occurred in the Colombian championship match between Atlético Nacional and Independiente Medellin. A knife flew into the football player's head from the stands.
Fans almost killed a Colombian football player by throwing a knife at his head. Pablo Sepelini, a player for Atlético Nacional, was preparing to take the ball from a corner in a Colombian championship match against Independiente Medellin. It was at that moment that a knife flew into his head from the stands. Fortunately, the blow came from the handle and not from the blade. Pablo escaped with a small wound and a bump. The chief arbiter assured him that he would heal before the wedding and continued the match after a short pause.
This is not the first such case in Colombian football. A couple of years ago, a scalpel flew at Millonarios FC player Daniel Ruiz from the stands and cut his hand.
