In Lipetsk, a criminal case was brought to court regarding a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a car, which occurred in April last year. In that accident, the motorcycle driver, who was 17 years old at the time of the accident, and his minor passenger were seriously injured. The accused's leg was subsequently amputated. It was established that the driver of the motorcycle was drunk, did not have a license to drive a vehicle, the motorcycle did not have a registration plate, the driver and passenger were not wearing helmets and were driving with the headlights off. And now he faces up to 7 years in prison.
