An attack on a store owner in India was caught on video.

Events that, in their tragedy and drama, resemble a Bollywood movie unfolded in a suburb of Delhi. In a Delhi suburb, a criminal shot dead a shop owner and his son, who chased after the bandit. An enraged crowd of bystanders prevented the killer from escaping.

On the afternoon of June 9, shop owner Sohanlal Agrawal was shot dead at his workplace in a suburb of Delhi. His son Vikas died while trying to detain the attacker. The gunman, named Luhari Varun, was beaten to death by neighbors and bystanders; moreover, someone even put a bullet in his back.

The murder of the head of the Agrawal family itself was revenge for events from 11 years ago, when that same Luhari and his brother Kapil took a stimulant and started firing at a competitor's shop. Kapil was killed by return fire. According to police, Luhari had since formed a small gang and served time in prison a couple of times. Recently, all his property was confiscated, and he set out with an accomplice to take revenge.

Following this incident, mass protests against rampant crime broke out in the area, and merchants blocked a highway for several hours, demanding that the Varun family be punished. In the end, Baburam, Luhari's father, was arrested, and by all appearances, the blood feud will enter a new cycle.
