A Colombian investigator prevented a killer from escaping

In the Colombian city of La Mesa, a hitman approached a man and shot him several times. An off-duty investigator from the National Criminal Investigation Department ran up to the attacker and shot him dead.

The 30-year-old Venezuelan hitman died at the scene. His victim was rescued.
