A criminal escaped from a prison van in Malaysia
A 24-year-old pedophile from Pakistan escaped from a prison van in full view of guards. He was pursued but never caught.
In Malaysia, a foreign criminal escaped from a prison van in full view of guards and fled. The incident occurred on April 9 in the Sultanate of Sengaluru. A prison security camera captured the moment four guards began escorting prisoners out of the van. One of the criminals suddenly took off running. Two guards chased him but were unable to catch him. On April 13, Malaysian authorities placed the man on a national wanted list and released video of his escape.
The fugitive was identified as 24-year-old pedophile Mohammad Hasan from Pakistan. He was arrested for multiple sexual crimes against children, robbery, and immigration violations.
Authorities called Hasan a dangerous criminal and advised anyone who spotted him not to approach him but to immediately report him to the police.
Police suspect the Pakistani national may attempt to flee abroad, but they believe he has not yet done so. The search for the suspect is ongoing.
