Parcel exploded in an elite residential complex in Istanbul

An unexpected incident occurred at a prestigious residential complex in the Zeytinburnu district of Istanbul: a package left behind in the lobby suddenly exploded. Security guards initially approached the box to inspect it, but during the inspection, the package detonated, revealing fireworks inside.

Two security guards suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for first aid before being released.

The complex's management later thanked the security guards for their attentiveness and quick response, noting that their training helped prevent more serious consequences. An investigation is ongoing to determine the precise cause of the detonation.
