Attack on a taxi driver in Dubai

Footage has surfaced online of a passenger attacking a Kenyan taxi driver who came to Dubai to work. The strange passenger also stole the car.

The incident took place in Dubai, where Brian Kiplimo arrived from his native Kenya two months ago to work as a taxi driver.

The attacker stole the taxi, by the way.

Brian's concerned family reports that their attempts to file a complaint with the taxi company have been unsuccessful, and Dubai authorities have not provided any substantive information on the progress of the legal proceedings.

Kiplimo is also unable to return home, as his employer confiscated his passport and other documents. Such is the brutal grin of capitalism from the UAE.
