A relaxed robbery went wrong
In the Colombian city of Repelón, robbers boarded a bus and attempted to steal passengers' money and other valuables. At some point, the robbery went awry.
Photos from inside a bus scheduled to depart from Repelón to Barranquilla (in the Atlántico department of northern Colombia) early in the morning of October 19th. The trip was delayed for several hours due to a gang of robbers hanging around the bus station, waiting for more wallets.
They lost their money and were forced to flee, but they retained their freedom, at least for now. A photo of the robber with a pistol made the rounds on local social media, making him practically a celebrity. The driver, however, was widely criticized for his "reckless act that could have resulted in casualties."
